B.U.G.S. has been invited to attend various Fairs and Fêtes over the last 8 years. The committee finds this a good way of raising funds for B.U.G.S. as well as promoting our charity and the support we offer. This all helps to achieve our aim.

"At that November stall, we are selling two Christmas Cards, Merrie Berries & Skiing Ladybirds. These have been painted by Emma Scott who has produced the four beautiful murals for the Burns Unit on behalf of B.U.G.S. over the past few years. We are selling the cards for £3.50 per pack (10 cards per pack: size A6) The greeting inside it says ‘With all good wishes for Christmas and the New Year’ and on the back we have our charity number, logo, the title, and the artist’s name etc. Both have thin borders around the card (Blue on Skiing Ladybird and Red on Merrie Berries). To purchase your cards, please come and see us at our autumn stall on Friday 18th November, situated in the main entrance of Salisbury District Hospital" | |

On Sunday 3rd July, some kind friends of B.U.G.S. have offered to open their large, exquisite garden to the public in aid of B.U.G.S. The garden will be open from 2 pm until 6pm with a £3.00 entrance fee. The garden is situated in the Cathedral Close and leads down to the River Avon with the Harnham Water Meadows beyond. Come and wander around the beautifully maintained garden, with a 100m double herbaceous border, or sit and enjoy the atmosphere. We shall have a stall offering information on the work we do and selling ladybird merchandise too. Please come and join us on what we hope will be a gloriously sunny afternoon! We are selling 2 x postcards taken from Emma’s recent mural at this stall plus another one taken from a photograph of a ladybird |
