We support patients who are referred through NHS breast screening programs, GPs, have a suspected cancer, or are a patient with a breast cancer diagnosis.
The team supports patients by:
- Being a point of contact for you throughout your treatment and on-going care
- Providing emotional support and expert clinical advice
- Referring and signposting to other support services (e.g. psychological, financial, social and community, including support groups)
- Health promotion, education and provision of holistic needs assessments
- Advice and support for living well with cancer and beyond cancer treatment, alongside the Macmillan Personalised Care Team.
- Supporting patients who have a recurrence and secondary breast cancer.
