Maternity

We will work with you to develop a personalised care plan to ensure you have the support needed throughout your pregnancy and beyond.

We are committed to providing the highest standard of care, involving you in every decision, and keeping you informed throughout.

If at any point in your care you have a concern, question or not understand something, please do not hesitate to speak to your midwife or a member of staff. 

We are proud to be accredited as Baby Friendly by the The Unicef UK Baby Friendly Initiative.

We work in partnership with neighbouring maternity and neonatal services in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire. 

Delivery Suite/White Horse Birth Centre

Two birthing partners allowed - we ask that all other visitors wait until the family are transferred to Hazel Ward.

Hazel Ward

No restrictions for one birthing partner who can stay throughout the 24-hour period.

All other visiting is between 8am and 8pm – maximum of two, in addition to one birthing partner.

We are unable to support children visiting the ward, other than siblings of the newborn. Siblings can also visit between 8am and 8pm and must be supervised at all times.

Please speak to the midwife in charge if there are exceptional circumstances that you wish to share.
