Our aim is to check that you are fit enough to undergo surgery and, if necessary, a general anaesthetic.
We might need to refer you for further clinical investigation before your procedure.
The Trust uses MyPreOp, an online pre-operative assessment, that allows patients to fill in an assessment at home before their procedure.
You will be asked questions about your health and operation. The answers you give will help the hospital to plan your care.
By completing MyPreOp online, you may not need to come to the hospital for a pre-operative assessment.
Once completed, the healthcare information you enter is sent directly to the hospital team.
