Virtual Fracture Clinic

Following a visit to the Emergency Department with an orthopaedic injury, your referral and x-rays will be reviewed by an orthopaedic consultant.

You will then be contacted within three working days to discuss and organise your on-going care.

Many orthopaedic injuries require no further treatment, but will require some action from you (e.g. you might need to do certain types of exercises).

This Virtual Fracture Clinic provides information on what you need to do to help your recovery.

The information in this section is for patients who have been diagnosed as sustaining a specific orthopaedic injury and have then been referred to this Virtual Fracture Clinic.

It is important that you seek advice from elsewhere if this is not the case.

How to use the Virtual Fracture Clinic

Choose the area of the injury from the list below, then choose the type of injury you have sustained and watch the associated video or read the information on the webpage.
